Due to the mandates by the Governor, the canteen will be closing at 5 pm today, 11/25/2020. We will also be closed tomorrow so that we can enjoy the day with our family. Everyone have a safe and happy Thanksgiving and we look forward to seeing you again on Friday.

September 29 is National VFW Day. Today we honor the devoted men and women of this important organization and its members who have served our nation. The organization was founded on Sept. 29, 1899. Happy Birthday to the Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW!

State VFW Commander Ronald J. Peters attended the Pa. Senate Majority Policy Committee Public Workshop regarding the impact COVID restrictions have had on veterans organizations and private clubs. Many urged less restrictive measures and fairness in the treatment of clubs and posts.

The state leadership for the Pennsylvania Veterans of Foreign Wars wishes to make it absolutely clear that as an organization we only fly the American, Pennsylv...ania and POW/MIA flags. We do not condone flying a confederate flag. While we support peoples right to protest and have their voice heard we do not condone people participating in those activities in connection to our organization. The Veterans of Foreign Wars is a non-partisan, neutral and all-inclusive organization. We must remain focused on our mission to help support veterans and our communities. We must embrace all those who have served in our ranks and foster a positive environment and diverse membership. See more
