A fundamental concept of Zen Buddhism teaches that finding happiness and managing stress are achieved only by living in this momentmindfulness to the present moment. Letting go of the past, which no longer exists, and being here now in the present. Not living in a projected future, which is a breeding ground for anxiety. The past is gone, and the future is not yet herethe present moment is really all we have. So sit. Ground yourself. In this moment, breathe; inhale peace ...deeply. Exhale worry. Repeat. Trust that God is working behind the scenes, and trust his timing. You are loved.

I have channeled multiple animals in my work, and they come through just as clearly as humans. Mostly I have channeled dogs and cats, but also a handful of horses, pigs, goats, and a llama. Today a family asked about their recently deceased pet. I got an image of a tank in a bedroom, and a smaller, exotic pet. Something unusual. Tomorrow is the day I moved in to the studio three years ago, and starts the next chapter of finally being back in studio after doing all the work virtually for over a year. Not a coincidence, this timing.

Q+A with a Medium I received this after reading for a client this week: Can I ask you a personal question? With you being a believer in God how do you feel the afterlife fits into the Bible? I'm just curious because after yesterday it really has me thinking. Is it the in-between before the resurrection? What are your thoughts?... Dear , The following is my opinion. That does not make it truth. It makes it my truth. What I know of the Bible, I have learned as a granddaughter of a pastor. What I have learned of what people in spirit describe as the afterlife is different. God is one energy. All is one. Varying religious theology and beliefs become one with God. Religion is a man made construct. When you are describing the resurrection, that is a biblical construct. What I feel personally is that the afterlife is not the in between. The afterlife is where our soul comes from, from God, and where we return to when we leave the body. It is peace and love. Unconditional love and healing from God. We each have to come to our own conclusions based on our own belief systems and relationship with God. And just as all is one, none are wrong. A soul reaching towards communion w God is always received. Thanks again!

**Important Scheduling Announcement!** Good morning! Want to make you all aware of a change in scheduling. I need to pause scheduling for a few months to allow myself to catch up. There is one regular appt left for Nov 2022, and after that is filled the schedule will be temporarily closed for the summer.... The schedule will reopen on September 1, 2021, for the next available appointmentsDec 2022 and Jan 2023. Every morning when I take the dog out, I speak aloud to God. Today I prayed for sick loved ones and all the pain and sickness our country and world are experiencing. I said, We need you, Lord. Please don’t be silent. Walk with us, show yourself. Came back inside, and saw one of the biggest cardinals I’ve ever seen at our feeder. Sometimes a response to prayer comes in real time. I don’t know the outcomes, but I know I was heard. And that is enough.

Sitting in meditative prayer today as I often do between appointments, and my eyes fell upon these roses outside my window. As one rose withers, a new offshoot blooms. Much like many of us over the past nine months. So much we’ve had to release amidst the changes. As we release that which no longer serves us, growth is occurring simultaneously. ... It is the nature of things. As dead parts fall away, new parts grow in their place. And you can’t have one without the otherreleasing the old allows room for the new. In our lives, and in ourselves. We continue to blossom.

This is an example of what I call the alchemy of grief. Grief is heavy, and can be overwhelming. What can we do in the midst of that to find peace as we heal? Something specific to our loved one, to turn pain into strength? This is a beautiful example of darkness finding light.
