We were greatly honored to be visted in our Doylestown showroom by Tibetan Buddhist Monks from Drepung Gomang monastery. The Monks were hosted by Bucks County Community College where they created a magnificent large sand mandala. They also participated in a Mala making workshop at Sun Dog Yoga. The most deeply appreciated compliment was given by the Monks saying how very beautiful our hand made rugs are.

Ali and Theresa Nejad proudly again support the ANA Americans for Native Americans with a $1,000.00 donation and two handwoven rugs to be auctioned at their August fundraising event. About the Organization: Americans for Native Americans works to improve the quality of life of Native Americans by providing essential goods and programs that foster self-reliance and mutual understanding. With many lacking basic necessities, the living conditions on Native American reservations can be shocking to those not familiar with reservation life. Native Americans deal with frightening statistics every day, struggling with rampant poverty, homelessness, sub-standard housing without water, heat, or electricity, extremely high unemployment, and very low graduation rates.

A Palm Beach designer sent us a wonderful photo of Nejad's fine hand knotted high/low pile rug and her client's fabulous color coordinated Giuseppe Zanotti jeweled slides.

Theresa & Ali Nejad donate $500.00 to support the valuable work of Richard Mears Ambassadors Football nonprofit organization. "AMBASSADORS FOOTBALL SINCE 1990 In 1990 Ambassadors Football began as Ambassadors In Sport (AIS) in Bolton, England. They continued as AIS until the current name was adopted in 2013. The ministry was founded by a group called Missionary Athletes International focused from the beginning to partner with churches and Christian organizations to develop gr...ass roots football ministry. To this day the work continues on through football camps, clinics, prison ministry, school ministry, men’s and women’s teams, international tours and major event ministries at the World Cup and Olympics Games. Ambassadors Football now has offices around the world and through diligent prayer, calling, and research continues to expand each year according to the Lord’s will."

Nejad Rugs proudly supports the Dementia Society of America founded by Kevin Jameson. Jeff Dayton, Glen Cambell's former band leader was kind enough to perform at this year's Raise Hope Now gala fund raising event.
