I love teaching Reiki

My Little Studio 06.07.2021

A few weeks ago I started offering a session that involved organic chakra oil blends from Mountain Rose Herbs. Side note: I’m not affiliated with this company, but I truly resonate with their frequency. I began combining the oils with Reiki, Meridian Balancing and Thai Bodywork sessions and found that the oils were a powerful enhancement!... A few of my regular clients have also spoken to the amazing enhancement these oils bring to their sessions. During the summer many of us tend to get overextended making it a great time to book a self-care session! $75 for an hour session and a bonus take-home sample Days, Evenings and some Saturday appointments are available.

Wherever you are in life, it’s my feeling, you’ve gotta go! ~Jerry Seinfeld Randy and I have recently started watching the 1st and 2nd seasons of Seinfeld. We had forgotten how funny that show was. In fact, much of it is still a true reflection of our conversations and relationships in 2021. As I’m preparing for tonight’s Yoga Book Chat on the subject of Santosha or Contentment, this bit of Jerry Seinfeld’s standup that we just saw last week came flooding into my mind....

Dear Ones, As we enter the new year, may we leave behind whatever habits, beliefs and armoring no longer serve our hearts. And with the energy that is freed ...up, give ourselves more fully to living from love. With prayers for increasing peace, justice, compassion and wellbeing...for all beings. ~Tara A poem for the new year: I intend to breathe my way through conflict, To breathe my way through the great risks, To breathe my way through the ebb and flow of grief, To breathe my way through the muck and mire of life, To breathe my way through dark disappointments. I intend to be with my true self, To listen for what is beneath the stillness, To see the lingering pain of others, To bow before the great teacherschildren and nature, To love all things more fully. I intend to open my arms and my heart to the world, Remembering that we belong to each other. -Dr. Joanne Cacciatore, Grieving is Loving: Compassionate Words for Bearing the Unbearable Photo: Jon McRay

So many folks asked me to start this class again as they missed the community and the yoga. We had created a special space at STCC and we are so excited to be back. Please join us as we come together to breathe and flow

How I love this darkest day. For me it signals that the season of rest and hibernation has fully arrived. The cold, the white blankets of snow, cozy fires and w...arm tea. The unapologetic desire to curl into a ball and dream. The light of love slowly building in the sky while Mother Earth makes sure we are slowing to see it. And today, we will see the conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter in the sky, shining like a bright star, not seen since the Middle Ages. I love this old folk-hymn that paints a picture of the coming of the love star that we can interpret in many ways. All gifts of this winter season. People look east, the time is near Of the crowning of the year. Make your house fair as you are able Trim the hearth and set the table. People look East and sing today Love the Guest is on the way Bird though ye long have ceased to build Guard the nest that must be filled. Even the hour when wings are frozen He for fledging time has chosen People look East and sing today Love the Bird is on the way Stars keep the watch, when night is dim One more light the bowl shall rim Shining beyond the frosty weather Bright as the sun and moon together People look East, and sing today Love the Star is on the way ~ Eleanor Farjeon Happy Winter Solstice, Advent, and Yule season!!!
