Murrysville Medic One

This evening members and staff of Medic One (station 610) got together for the annual 610 Days. Attendees were welcomed with lots of food, games, awards/recognitions, and laughs. Murrysville Mayor Synan and Murrysville Council President Dice stopped by to present Medic One with a Proclamation designating June 10th as 610 Days. Eight students were recognized for their successful completion of our career academy. Director Darrick Gerano was recognized for his 20 years of service at Medic One. Thank you to all of our staff and visitors that attended today’s events.

On June 7th, local, county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies joined together to start their annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics. The event began in Pittsburgh and ended at Beaver Stadium in State College. During this 3-day event, we provide als medical coverage for the runners. Great job to all of the runners and event organizers for another successful year supporting an awesome event.

This evening Support 610 responded into New Kensington to assist with firefighter rehab during a building fire that claimed a life.

Huge thank you to the Medic One personnel and their family members that participated in a clean-up day. They spent the day doing flower gardens and removing some old brush. Great job!

Units participated in the Export Memorial Day parade and also provided medical stand by during the ceremonies
