The feel of fall is in the air this week. This time of year invites us to reflect, as temps become cooler, daylight shortens and our routines begin to shift. We can honor this by slowwwing down, paying attention to our bodies, eating well and focusing more on nourishing practices. In this weeks yoga classes we’ll be shifting into the yin/restorative aspects of our practice to help us find balance this season. How will you hold space for yourself in this seasonal shift into autumn?

To our community of clients, Here are some steps we are taking in the office as COVID-19 appears in the community. What We are doing:... Continuing our practice of standard OSHA protective protocols in terms of hand washing, clean sheets, and sterilized cupping and massage equipment. Adding extra sanitizing measures: wiping door handles, faucets, face cradles, all hard surfaces including call buttons and bathrooms. Patients will be screened and vetted by phone during appointment and confirmation calls to ensure that they are not symptomatic. Symptomatic patients (coughing, sneezing, fever, etc.) will be directed to seek assistance from their primary care physician. All surfaces will be professionally cleaned and sanitized to reduce the risk of infection The best things you can do right now: Stay informed. Keep up with travel advisories, as the situation changes all the time. Stay hydrated and healthy. Focus on the things you can control get enough sleep, eat nourishing and nutritious foods, wash your hands regularly, wipe down high-touch surfaces (e.g. phones, workspaces, keys, etc.) Most people, if not in a high-risk category (older folks, those with chronic illnesses, those with weakened immune systems, those who are pregnant) themselves, are in contact with one be aware of protecting those around you.
