MWA will be hosting an information gathering session to hear issues and concerns that area residents have for a portion of the Youghiogheny River watershed community. The issues and concerns that area residents express will be used as the basis for developing the list of projects that when implemented will improve the quality of life in the watershed. RSVP for the meeting. You cannot participate if you do not RSVP.... bit.ly/YoughRCP

Our community and its rivers have been affected by dirty industrial plastic facilities and petrochemical buildout more than most. Plastic pollution is an environmental hazard, but these industries plan to increase plastic production by 40% over the next decade. Mountain Watershed Association has worked to monitor and reduce plastic waste in our waterways, so today we join 550+ groups calling on President-elect Joe Biden to be a #PlasticFreePresident. This means leading our country on the pathway to a plastic free future, and securing our waterways' as clean, swimmable, and safe.
