COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus)- Update March 27, 2020 Dear Montgomery Montessori Families, We are reaching out to keep you informed of the influence that COVID-19 is having on Montgomery Montessori School and our operations. On March 13, 2020, to limit the spread of coronavirus, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf ordered the closure of schools and early childhood facilities and implemented a Stay at Home Order with non-essential business closures that affect our ability to operat...e normally. This new order will be in place indefinitely and applies to our County. We understand that this provides a hardship for some but we are bound to comply and do so willingly in order to assist in all efforts to get back to normal as quickly as possible. At this time, we are hopeful that the virus will be short lived and look forward to getting back to business. We encourage families to stay engaged and know that we are here to support you. Keep an eye on our social media pages as we will continue to provide information as it comes available. Some of you have reached out regarding the monthly fees for childcare. At this time, in order to be ready to open our doors again, we request that you continue payments as normal. For those facing hardship, we can offer a deferral form which will allow you to catch up once the crisis passes and your work returns to normal. In order to continue normal operations, we need to either receive your normal monthly payment or receive a referral request form. Know that we are also using this time to invest in the facility and taking advantage of the closure to provide improvements that are difficult to schedule when school is open. We will continue to invest in your children and are proud of the service we provide to our families. Dear M.M.S. Families, As per Governor Tom Wolf's announcement, MMS will be closed beginning March 13, 2020 for a period of 14 days due to the health and safety of all. All additional updates with regards to the Coronavirus will be evaluated during this period. We will update you as information is received. Stay Healthy
