From the officers and members of Citizens Fire Company we’d like to wish our community as well as everyone else a happy easter. We hope however you celebrate today you do it in a safe manner. Stay safe but enjoy this warm weather we have been blessed with.

With the snow dumping the way it is we found it appropriate to remind everyone that if you’re out shoveling and a hydrant is in your area please try and keep them clear. We know this weather puts alot of us in a hunker down and wait till it passes mood but remember, even the 10 minutes it takes to clear a hydrant can save us alot of time when we depend on a quick water supply. And as always we urge everyone to stay inside if you do not have to travel. Roads are terrible and you do not want to be that person that puts more than just your life at risk. So grab a drink, put on your favorite movie and stay safe.

The members of middleport fire company send our deepest condolences to Joe Blackie Kufrovich's family in this very difficult time. Joe you will be missed by so many, rest easy.
