Though earlier reported in the New England Journal of Medicine this study again described online reports convincing evidence that cervical cancer can actually be prevented in women receiving the HPV vaccine and for women who benefited from a vaccination prior to 17 years of age only 4 women of nearly 500 studied suffered from cervical cancer. Unvaccinated women were 8 times more likely to suffer cervical cancer than those who benefited from an early vaccination.

Jerry Meyers, Brendan Lupetin, and Gregory Unatin represented the Miller family in a medical malpractice lawsuit against Tyrone Hospital in Blair County, Pennsylvania. After three years of litigation the case came to trial in the Court of Common Pleas of Blair County. Brendan Lupetin and Greg Unatin just completed a trial of the case which resulted in a jury award for Christopher Miller of $10.83 million dollars.
