Next week Saturday June 19 at Mercer we will have the inaugural Rick Hall memorial for BRP modifieds also running the 410 sprints for 2500 to win , also FASTRAK modifieds, racesaver 305 sprints and mini stocks...Grandstands will be $17 seniors will be $15 pits will be 35 and seniors will be $30

410 sprints $4000 to win highlight the memorial day madness for Michael’s Mercer raceway Saturday May 29th. By Jim Balentine (Mercer,Pa)... As we celebrate the start of the Memorial Day weekend, and we honor all servicemen and servicewomen for their service to our country, the 4th show of our 70th anniversary season with the memorial day madness featuring the 410 sprint cars racing for $4000 to win along with $250 to start with the Racesaver 305 sprints Oh/Western Pa challenge that pays $1000 to win , the FASTRAK modifieds and the Mercer mini stocks who will now race for $400 to win weekly! the big block modifieds will have the night off. Pit gates open at 4 pm grandstands open at 5 pm Hot laps will be at 5:45 410 and 305 sprint time trials at 6:15 Racing to begin at 7 pm Admission: cash only facility with no ATM on site: Grandstands: $17 adult $15 senior kids 13 and under are free Pits: $35 $30 senior and kids 10 and under As Mercer celebrates the 70th season of existence the 410 sprints are coming back for the 2nd time this season. The 410 sprints will battle for one of the highest paying unsanctioned races of the season paying $4000 to win with a time trial/dash finish format. 3rd generation driver Adam Kekich is the man to beat at Mercer as last season he won all but One feature event and he captured the first race of 2021. Other drivers expected are 4 time track champion Jack Sodeman Jr, Brandon Spithaler, Brandon Matus, George Hobaugh, Sye Lynch, whom have all won features around the circuit this year, Jeremy Kornbau who has finished 2nd at Mercer many times, and several others including the possibility of some outside invaders coming in to try to beat the locals. The Racesaver 305 sprints will also complete in the Ohio/West Pa. challenge which will pay $1000 to win. In 3 races in 2021 Logan McCandless has won his first 2 career features and central pa racer Derek Hauck won his first Mercer checker. Many of the southern Ohio and central Pa Racesaver 305s are expected to attend as well to challenge our locals. Also on the card will be the FASTRAK crate modifieds, and the Mercer mini stocks which has the highest weekly purse of any speedway with the winner getting now receiving $400 dollars for 1st place.
