The State Parks are closed until further notice. If you do visit please stay away from other people and remember that the rest rooms are closed. Hopefully this will pass in a couple weeks and we can get back to normal.

Our first day of the 2020 season APRIL 6, 2020. We will be open every Saturday and Sunday until Memorial Day when we open 7 days a week. ALSO on April 6th!!!!! The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission will hold their annual spring Open House at the Linesville State Fish Hatchery on Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m. Shake off that cabin fever and come on out to this great family event. ... Be one of the 3,000 to 4,000 people to pack the buildings and grounds to see demonstrations on filleting, preparing and cooking fish. Listen to biologists discuss electrofishing and how they can tell the age of a fish. See your favorite fish species in the hatchery’s 10,000-gallon viewing aquarium. Make your own fish prints on paper or t-shirt. Talk boating safety with local officers. See reptiles and amphibians. Learn about fly tying and practice your skills fly casting. As you can tell, there has been a lot added to this event since it first started in 1965. Come and enjoy the fun. While you’re there, buy your fishing license and get out and enjoy the endless opportunities Pennsylvania offers to anglers and boaters. These activities are scheduled: Fish Prints (Visitor Center) -- Make a paper souvenir of your visit or a $3.00 Fish Print T-shirt! Purchase your 2019 Pennsylvania Fishing License or multi-year fishing licenses at Open House! Kayak Anglers fishing kayak display Walleye spawning demonstrations, including fish sorting, removing/fertilizing eggs. Fish filleting and cooking demonstrations. Viewing native fish species in the 10,000 gallon viewing tank.
