Today we would like to introduce you to Class of 2021 member Lynn Frey of BLaST IU 17! Lynn shares that a leader who she looks up to locally is Brooke Beiter. Lynn says "She easily combines grace, kindness, and an undeniable amount of intelligence in such a way that you always leave meetings feeling motivated and supported and ready to change the world! In my opinion, women in industry sometimes can be perceived as too soft or too aggressive. However, Brooke naturally approaches challenging situations from a kindness matters stance and backs it up with sharp wit, a keen eye and a sincere desire to improve areas to better serve our students and community. It’s truly a pleasure to work with her." Welcome to Leadership Lynn!

January Alumni Spotlight: Valerie Fessler, Director of Development and Community Engagement, American Rescue Workers, Class of 2019 Personally I learned so much about the community that I grew up in through Leadership Lycoming. Where else could you get the opportunity to go from a historic battlefield in Jersey Shore, to the top of the landfill, and end on the inside of a boardroom where critical decisions are being made by community leaders? My Leadership Lycoming experience translated into tremendous opportunity for my employer, American Rescue Workers. My classmates have become volunteers, donors and advocates for the work that we do to feed and shelter those in crisis. Members of the class of 2019 are a phone call away and we continue to work together to better serve the community.
