January Alumni Spotlight: Valerie Fessler, Director of Development and Community Engagement, American Rescue Workers, Class of 2019 Personally I learned so much about the community that I grew up in through Leadership Lycoming. Where else could you get the opportunity to go from a historic battlefield in Jersey Shore, to the top of the landfill, and end on the inside of a boardroom where critical decisions are being made by community leaders? My Leadership Lycoming experience translated into tremendous opportunity for my employer, American Rescue Workers. My classmates have become volunteers, donors and advocates for the work that we do to feed and shelter those in crisis. Members of the class of 2019 are a phone call away and we continue to work together to better serve the community.
