Laurel Ridge XC Ski Center

This is the backside of the red. Lots of shoveling after video was recorded. A couple skate skiers reported is was not bad at all.

Don’t put those skis away yet! Andy has groomed and shoveled the last couple days. Our base is still 10-12 in places! The blue, some greens and red are all covered. We are only grooming the orange to the road. The debris is not a problem. We are recommending to bypass the hills on the red (4th is not skiable). As the temps rise tomorrow afternoon we will continue to granulate the surface and have 4-5 miles of skiable trail (front side only). We will be OPEN SATURDAY & SUNDAY 9-5pm.

We have a solid 12-14 base with 6-8 fresh snow over the last couple days. Trails are beautiful. Wide lanes and deep track! Approximately 70% of the trails have track while 60% are groomed for skate skiing! All trails have been groomed and will be fine tuned every morning for optimal skiing

Happy New Year CLOSED TODAY. OPEN SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 9-5pm. We are receiving the forecasted ice this morning with higher amounts on The Ridge. The good news is that it will likely turn to snow late afternoon and continue to snow Saturday and Sunday making for excellent ski conditions!

Temps are falling and we are still receiving snow from the frequent squalls. Forecasters are seeing another 2-3 for the ridges tonight! We aren’t touching the trails today to take advantage of the cold temps and additional snow coming this evening. We will start grooming early tomorrow morning and plan on opening Friday & Saturday 9-5pm! Stay tuned for trail pictures & conditions as we groom.

10 years ago we had so much snow we had to shovel the roof....we’d be happy to have that problem again.

OPEN 9-5pm Temps remained in the low 20’s last night and we received 1.5 of fresh snow! House made soups, hot cocoa & snacks available.

Skiing at Laurel Ridge Cross County today. Lots of rain Thursday night followed by snow on Friday. Red trail had wet spots I was able to get around and the rest of the trail was good. Some snow later today and cold tonight should improve the trails.
