kirban nitely thoughts....first a update as you recall one of our sources recently was able to purchase 20 sets of factory original rear springs for the 1984-1987 Turbo Regals. They are selling quickly. Once they are gone they are gone for good original ones. Our part number is 7942. The fronts are brand new heavy duty ones based on the 1987 Turbo Regals #7943 Fronts are not an issue. The rears once the 20 sets sell their is no more. Both are on our website. Remember ...also unless I am wrong we are the only source for the correct looking original 1986-1987 Turbo Regal alternators both the 120 and the powerful 200 version. Our pulley is an exact reproduction and powder coated glossy black. The fan is silver cad not gold cad like 99% of the new ones you buy today. Also ours are built by one individual bench tested and come with a warranty. Part #7315 and #7316. Vacuum brake units continue to be a huge seller for us as we sell several every day now. All I can say is its a good thing one major company has reproduced the vacuum brake pedal which makes install quite easy. In looking thru my old printed newsletters I found some actual production numbers that I was able to get from my inside contact at Buick. As I stated before the production numbers is for the entire Regal line up for any given year and entire Limited line for 1987. Buick did not I repeat did not break down numbers for the Turbo Regals. Its a shame but true. Own a Corvette and its a different ball game. Here is one small facto regarding the Limited models in 1987. The astro roof option went in 645 Limited Regals in 1987. That total is for all Limiteds in 1987 not just the turbo version. My educated guess is most of the 645 probably got installed in the Turbo Limited models as regular V6 and V8 Limiteds the buyers were probably older buyers. Regardless of my guess a Limited Turbo with a astro roof option would be quite rare today 30 plus years after production ceased and many have rusted away.
