God has been blessing TKA with so many upgrades during this Covid season. When we begin to open things up, I'm afraid you might not recognize us! The new paint has added such a fresh look to our entryway, hallways, office and bathrooms! We now have a generous donor who is paying 20% of the cost to replace the shades in the main building. If you've been here lately, you know that these 10-year old shades have seen better days! We have received a quote to replace all the... existing shades with light filtering shades for $10,000. Dear Friends of TKA, The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged all of us in various ways. At TKA we are no different, despite the many obstacles we have met the challenge head on with our FAITH and practicality. We stay committed to and reliant our mission and vision. We are grateful for our teachers, staff, families, and students who have worked tirelessly and supported us in our reopening efforts. Through their hard work and steadfastness, we were able to reopen in August for... face to face learning for the 20-21 school year. Reopening went smoothly and our operations continue to thrive. Philanthropic support is needed now more than ever for us. We have had to postpone several events that have, in the past, provided us with great monetary support. In addition, expenses have increased to meet the additional requirements for reopening. Please consider supporting Christian education in this season where we see, more than ever, the need for leaders with strong Christian character to grow and emerge impacting culture. Charitable Deduction Increased up to $300 in above-the-line deductions for charitable cash contributions, for taxpayers who take the standard deduction. Charitable deduction Increased for C corporations from 10% to 25% of taxable income.
