Does your hair color have a special meaning to you? Most times we choose a hair color because we just love it on ourselves and that’s amazing. But... Sometimes we choose a hair color because of its special meaning.... My gorgeous client here has been with me since the beginning. She has always been one of my rainbow girls who keep my job interesting. This time she requested purples to signify a very big change in her life and I couldn’t be more appreciative and thankful to be able to make this happen. Hair color is so much more than that. I have said it before and I’ll say it over and over again... Hair color is and always will be our way of expressing ourselves, showing who we are and giving us the confidence we’ve always had inside. Its an extension of our personalities and there ain’t anything wrong with that! Is there a special color that means something to you?

Bronde adj. - denoting hair colored so as to have both blonde and brown sections or strands. Why choose when you can have both? My girl, Alleshia, came in with an old balayage and dead ends that needed to be cut! She wanted to go brunette but also still loved having blonde.... Can you relate? She was struggling with choosing between staying blonde or going brunette again as both colors she loved for different reasons! But I said well why don’t we do both! We need more Brondes! The possibilities are endless with color, you just need to find a colorist who can create with you! Pt. 1 of ??? This beautiful client of mine came in with quite the color correction! She had previous box dyed hair that she tried to color remove herself at home. Our end goal is to get her as light blonde as possible!... This hair journey will take a couple visits over several months to get her to her desired color. This is because we are taking the integrity/health of her hair as our top priority! Underneath the black box color on her hair is very lightened blonde hair. This makes her hair very fragile. By taking our time lightening her hair and using protecting products like Olaplex along the way, we can be sure her hair stays the healthiest it can!
