Hands-on House, Children's Museum of Lancaster has a new partnership with Hempfield School District’s Library Media Program. The partnership provides two family museum passes in the elementary school libraries for checkout. By offering the opportunity for students to visit the Hands-on House with their families at no cost, this partnership is a unique way that we can execute our department’s mission to provide resources that support the curriculum being taught in classrooms, said Dr. Cathi Fuhrman, the HSD Librarian who coordinated the partnership.

We are currently hiring for building aide positions at several of our elementary buildings. These roles are extremely important in the everyday functioning of our buildings. Building aides work 5.5 hours a day and either work an AM or a PM shift. The duties during these times include, but are not limited to, arrival or dismissal of students, lunch and recess coverage, and working with students individually or in small groups. ...
