Sue is House of Hope’s Director of Residential Program. Before coming to HOH she raised and homeschooled three daughters through to graduation. She is now the joy-filled grandmother of three precious gifts. During a time of personal struggle, Sue received Biblical counseling and embarked on a journey with Jesus that has resulted in great healing. She has participated in Entrust’s Women-to-Women Ministry Training and Soul Care Equipping training. Sue is passionate about seeing the House of Hope girls find freedom in Jesus and living in the abundant life He offers! What Sue shares, and how she guides the girls through very difficult times, is amazing to watch! Her commitment to our girls is something that sets our program apart from others!

Becky is HOH’s part time teacher at our school, Hope Academy. She gained much of her experience as a Homeschool Mom to her children for ten years. Becky is a graduate of North Central College with a BA in Biochemistry. During her senior year, however, she felt the calling to work with youth and young adults. Outside of her teaching time at House of Hope, Becky enjoys being involved in her children’s activities. Gardening and Cooking are ways she likes to relax. When we asked... Becky for a favorite moment at House of Hope she replied with these thoughts When I see God using schoolwork, especially math, as a way of building godly character in the girls. Because of all the other challenges these girls have faced, for many schools in the past has been difficult, and they want to give up quickly. When the revelation comes to them that God is doing a work in their lives through their schoolwork, I see a determination and joy that brightens their eyes and shifts their attitude. Those moments bring me the greatest joy. HOH is thankful for Becky’s passion and experience in helping our girls work through issues or conflicts with a full and committed heart!
