Hi everyone! We know this has been a hard time for so many in our community. We want to extend an offer to anyone that may be in need of warm shoes for this winter. If you know of a family in need of winter shoes/boots, please send us a private message. We believe God has called us to serve our local community just as much as those around the world. I pray as a community we can come together to love and serve those in need. We pray for God's continued blessing and protection... over each of you. God is on your side. Keep looking up. His promises remain just as true today as they did before the pandemic hit. He is for you! We are praying for you and your families. Alotenango Antigua, Villa Canales, & Zona 18 in Guatemala -- December 2020, right before Christmas. Many shoes and the love of Jesus gifted to beautiful families. Gracias, thank you to Edgar Castanon for your heart, vision and work to the nations. We love partnering with you year after year. The pandemic has halted a lot of our work in 2020, but the opportunities God has given us despite the current crisis, well, we love being able to share with you all. Thank you for praying with us.

We have nothing but love, respect and appreciation for the entire medical community. We want to do our part to honor and support those risking so much to serve our communities during this time. With that said, Honduran Soles has decided to match dollar for dollar up to the first $1,000 raised as a community to our local hospitals. 100% of the money will go to bless those working in the hospital. We are working to supply hospital lounges with healthy snacks and fresh fruits al...l while trying to support local businesses as well. We will be donating to our local hospitals, Evangelical & Geisinger. We will also be donating to Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia (where our brother is a resident), to the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital, as well as Centra Hospital in Lynchburg, VA (where Andrea and her husband Brandon are currently in medical school). Many of us know someone in the medical field, from physicians and nurses, to administrative staff, to custodial staff and more. Let’s do something small to show them support, encouragement and appreciation for all they do for us, especially during these difficult weeks. Most importantly, let’s cover them in prayer. We have an awesome opportunity to support 2 upcoming medical mission trips to Honduras & the Dominican Republic in March by purchasing bibles in both Spanish and Creole. A story for your heart tonight: During this trip, our group was able to visit pastors in the community. The pastors in that area only make $10/month. One man, upon receiving a small pink pair of shoes, was overcome with emotion and tears. He told the team that he and his wife just had their first child 8 months ago, but they haven’t been able to afford her shoes yet. She will begin walking soon, and they kept praying for God to provide shoes so that she could learn to walk safely and with support. He said God answered his prayer. (November, 2019)

Please keep my father in law, Jeff Smith and the entire team from Harvest Church in your prayers as they leave for Uganda, Africa today. They will be working at an orphanage and ministering to those in the community. While we can’t tell you the place these shoes went recently for the protection of the people involved, we do have permission from them to share some pictures, and all we can say is God is good and so many were overwhelmed by the gift of a new pair of shoes. Thank you so much to the Montgomery Area School District for holding a shoe drive and raising over a 100 pairs of shoes for Honduran Soles! We are so grateful! So many lives will be changed through these shoes!!

Meet Moisés, 26! Our interpreter Cesár brought a pair of sneakers for his friend Moisés... this young man travels with Dick, an American who has lived in Guatemala for 19 years now and sets people up with wheelchairs, delivers food to families, and has helped mentor and raise some children in the community. Moisés has built a relationship with Dick and traveled with him since he was 10 years old! We love giving shoes for this very reason. Shoes were too big, but they were the only sizes left and the kids wanted a new pair so badly. Our hearts. For the Kingdom we give, for these children we give a small gift that might not change their circumstances, but are a way for us to say we love you, we care for you, and most importantly there is a God above who has not forgotten you. see how soccer brings people together grateful to have partnered with a local team & 11 U.S. hs soccer players & 3 Guatemalan players who traveled this past week to Zaragoza and Ricon Grande, Guatemala and delivered over 100 pairs of soccer cleats and sneakers, along with uniforms, washing the feet of their new friends and building relationships through Jesus Christ. They also built a new playground in Ricon Grande for the kids! THIS is the gospel!! Lots of shoes were given to some sweet kids & their communities this past month in the community of Mila, near Latacunga & in mountain areas of Quito. My dear friend Susana, a native of the city of Quito herself, through her generosity and the programs/ministries she has developed in Ecuador/Pennsylvania over decades, has helped many, many families in need of basic necessities.
