As we look toward the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, we can find renewed hope that we will not live in this desert forever. Our new world is taking shape. The 20...21 Bishop’s Appeal is dedicated to raising the resources we will need to emerge from the pandemic by re-energizing our congregations, fortifying our antiracism efforts and collaborating with one another and with our communities to do the work that God has given us to do. Please join me in making a generous donation to support our participation in God’s mission. https://bit.ly/3dUjsu2 --Bishop Sean Rowe See more

"Thomas is the one who is called the twin but we never hear who the twin is," said Bishop Sean in his sermon for the Second Sunday of Easter. "Sometimes I think... we're Thomas's twin. Not only do we want to see and know, we need to see and know and to hear and touch; to know that God is not only for us but God is with us. Now and always. Thank you Thomas for getting us to the point." See more

Therefore we will welcome up to 22 individuals to attend mass that day. We may be a bit over cautious, but as we test this introducti...on period please know we are taking every possible precaution to reduce the risks for everyone. We will not take reservations; however, it would be helpful if you could let the Warden know of your intention to attend. Social distance of 6 feet or more must be observed in seating arrangements. Family groups may sit together. Masks will be required. Social Distancing will be maintained. Sanitizers will be available and adequate ventilation techniques will comply with recommendations. Singing is prohibited. The bulletin for the service will be emailed to those with an address on file for printing at home. There will be bulletins available that morning. Communion will be distributed by the Officiant. Attendees must remain in the pews. Please know the signs of Covid 19. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. Each of the books’ five sessions focuses on a distinct theme: hope, salvation, compassion, tenderness, or incarnation. The structure of each session includes prayers, a brief thematic introduction, probing dialogue questions, and a readin...g from Merton paired with a reading from one of five other spiritual masters, including Gerard Thomas Straub, Anne D. LeClair, Olivier Clément, Michael Casey, and Christopher Bamford. This book study provides a welcoming haven during the midst of a hectic season and provides a rewarding reflection on the meaning of Advent and Christmas. Please D.M. us if you'd like to participate. Worship for Sunday October 4th at 11:00 am @ Quiet Creek Herb Farm You're invited to join together for worship Sunday October 4 at 11:00 am for a Morning Prayer service officiated by Deacon Dave Betz at Claire & Rusty Orner’s Quiet Creek Herb Farm; located at 93 Quiet Creek Lane (from Brookville-Route 36N, Turn left onto McManigle Rd 0.6 mi turn right onto Quiet Creek Ln watch for the Quiet Creek Sign on right). There is an outside pavilion which is large enough for safe dis...tancing. Masks will be required, there will be no singing and social distancing recommendations will be enforced. It would be wonderful, if we were gathering without restrictions but unfortunately that is not possible. I am delighted we are able to worship together in this manner before the weather also is an issue. I will email the service bulletin for the Aug 4th service to you next week for those who cannot attend. I hope to record the service and will post it to Facebook or You Tube. For those who prefer to forego in-person gathering, we completely honor your decision. Also, we continue our ministry to assist CYS families during court days with healthy snacks. If you can contribute with snacks or a monetary contribution, please contact Sue Frontino.
