***Update*** Frysville Road has been reopened. MetEd will be closing the road again in the near future to complete the repairs. Frysville Road is closed between Libhart Mill Rod and Old Orchard Road for a telephone pole down across the roadway.

Hellam Fire Company stayed busy yesterday with 5 calls back to back. Starting at 1356 hours, Station 21 was alerted for a brush fire in the 600 block of Riverview Court in Hellam Township. Attack 21 arrived on scene with a quarter acre spreading quickly, laying a supply line, and stretching the booster line. Engine 21-2 arrived on scene shortly after and supplied the Attack with water. While cleaning up back at the station a crash occurred at East Market Street and Friendship... Avenue. 21 members quickly started patient care until other units arrived to assist with debris removal and traffic control. While on scene we were alerted for a brush fire in the 1100 block of Range Road in Hellam Township. Units arrived to extinguish a 20x20 brush fire. While returning we were alerted for a reported MVA with ejection Route 30 WB at the Wrightsville off exit. 21 units arrived on scene to assist Wrightsville Fire with depowerment and debris removal. While on scene Engine 21-2 and Tanker 21 were hit for a Shed Fire in East Donegal Township. 21 units arrived and staged our man power on scene until being released shortly after.
