Deck the Halls Have you ever wondered the meaning of some of the words in Christmas Songs? Particularly "Deck the Halls"? What is the meaning of "yule", "Noel", and ect.? I did a little research to provide you, our field staff, with a better understanding Yule - An ancient name in the Germanic lunar calendar for winter festival corresponding to December and January. Later, yule referred to the twelve-day holiday associated with the feast and nativity after the widespread ad...option of Christianity through Northern Europe. Yuletide refers to, Christmas Season. Yule Log - refers to a Christmas Cake in the shape of a log. Noel - A Christmas Song or Carol. It originally derived from the French language where you might hear French language where you might hear French people wish each other "Joyeux Noel, which means "Merry Christmas". Deck - As in "deck the halls" means, decorate or adorn brightly or festively. Bough - The word alone means branch. In the song, "Deck the Halls with boughs of Holly" , means festively decorate with branches of Holly. Scottish musician, Thomas Oliphant, wrote the English lyrics of "Deck the Halls" in 1862. While the melody was much older possibly dating back to the sixteenth century. These words were probably more common back then and now we would never use them in a sentence during the Christmas season. During this Christmas Season, while we deck the halls with boughs of holly, sing your favorite Noel, and share your best Yule Log with someone special.

SELF - IMPROVEMENT - PUNCTUALITY Every now and then being late for a scheduled/standing appointment happens, its life. Being habitually late is a problem that can put your job and your relationship with others at risk. Review the following guidelines for self improvement. PUNCTUALITY SHOWS MASTERY... Being on time consistently shows everyone around you that you are the master of your life. On the other hand, being late all the time shows that you can be incapable of dealing with or anticipating problems. It sends the message that you are not in control of time. PUNCTUALITY SHOWS COMPETENCE Someone who shows, over and over, that they are the master of their time is someone who will be taken seriously in areas far removed from time management. PUNCTUALITY SHOWS INTEGRITY Punctuality is also a trust issue. When you accept a schedule, you are making a commitment to Heartfelt and the patient that needs your care. If your word is not good enough about something as trivial as showing up on time, how can your word be any good about anything more important? PUNCTUALITY SHOWS YOUR VALUE IN YOURSELF Being repeatedly late is self destructive behavior. Why else would you risk losing your job or insulting those around you? It also demonstrates that your employer (heartfelt), or the client looking forward to your care, is never a high priority.
