Summer Playground Camp Info: Summer 2021 will be a summer to remember! We are super excited to have our Playground Camp back this year. Registration will open for Township Residents on Sunday, April 25 at 4pm. All registration will need to be completed on a desktop. (No phone registration) A few changes have been made to the program this summer:... Dates: June 28 August 6 (M-F) Time: Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm & Friday 10am-3pm All 7 playground locations: Coopertown, Grange, Hilltop, Merwood, Paddock, Veterans, Westgate To allow maximum families to participate we are limiting participants to 3 weeks at playground camp Fee: $95/week per family No refunds will be given after June 4 There will be NO Field Trips or Fabulous Fridays at the Reserve this summer. Health and Safety Protocols: We are reducing our numbers at each location by 50 spots Mask wearing is required All of this information will be posted on our website by the end of next week. Huge thank you to the volunteers from Clarivate who helped prepare the Haverford Reserve for our 7th annual fall tree planting. Each year, Haverford Township Recreation has planted 150+ trees along the Northbrook Creek’s riparian buffer as a part of the PHS TreeVitalize program, funded by Aqua and other partners. The tree planting will have lasting impacts on the health of the stream and the people and wildlife that depend on it. Healthy riparian buffers filter out pollutants, provide shade to the creek which benefits wildlife, and provides vital habitat to native species. Clarivate’s work at Haverford Reserve will play an integral role in this process.
