Frog's former Executive Chef, Royer Smith, is helping to organize a very special dinner in response to injustice in our immigration system. The event is Tuesday, March 26th at 6:30pm. Share dinner and learn from a panel discussion. Ben Miller of South Philly Barbacoa will host the panel with Clive and Oneita Thompson from Jamaica and Suyapa Reyes from Honduras. Both families are currently living in sanctuary at First United Methodist Church of Germantown (FUMCOG) to resist deportation. The families’ lawyer, David Bennion, and the church’s pastor, Bob Coombe, will speak on the panel to contextualize their cases within the current U.S. immigration climate. https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLSdvjOYQtkUd_sre7e/viewform
If you're into food and farms this event is for you! It's tomorrow, but tickets are still available.
