Franklin Together: The Franklin County PA Reentry Coalition

Membership Drive Update This year, we set a goal of $5,000 and we are happy to report that we are currently at $4,525!! So, THANK YOU to all who have donated so far. The drive ends on January 31, 2021! Life during a pandemic was chaotic, for most. Because of invested members like you, Franklin Together was able to continue to hold our regularly scheduled meetings and still meet the needs of our returning individuals. During 2020, your membership donations helped the co...alition to: 1. Enhance the Franklin County Library Partnership - We donated 5 sets of books centered on Reentry to our local libraries and created display boards to educate the public about Franklin Together. 2. Start our Gears For Careers, where we helped over 10 individuals get required clothing and tools for work. 3. Start our Moving Forward Peer Support Group at the House of Hope and was able to expand to PA Counseling! We are SO excited to see what 2021 has to offer! W.A.F.C is hosting webinars to teach, encourage, and learn how to reconcile our differences in this world together. Challenging topics related to implicit bias, social injustice, and racism will be discussed to learn, relate, and overcome by being more informed.
