I become lost in admiration when I recognize and experience this incomprehensible love of God with which God loves me. Who is God and what am I? I cannot meditate on this any further. Only love can understand this meeting of two spirits, namely, God-who-is-Spirit and the soul-who-is-creature. The more I know Him, the more completely, with all the strength of my being, I drown in Him. Yet, the ability to recognize and experience this incomprehensible love sometimes escapes us. I ask You, Lord, today, give the grace of knowing Your Love to those who are most in need of it. For me and for those I love, I ask You to help us to know that You are here with us always. Help us to spend time with You, so that we may know You more. As we get to know You, we cannot help but abide in Your love. Do not allow that we be half-hearted in our love for You. Like Saint Faustina, help us to try to know and love You with all the strength of our being. God, You are Love. Let us abide in love and abide in You! MY PRAYERS AND LOVE FOR YOU DEAR FRIENDS During my meditation before Mass, being the feast day of Ss Philip and James, I reflected on what Christian martyrs teach us!... They give us the assurance that we can stand for God no matter the circumstances. We should be bold and cling to Christ. Martyrs show us what it looks like to stand firm in not denying Jesus. Jesus attached a Blessing to the suffering Christians face in this world: Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man (Luke 6:22). Christian martyrs are faithful. By their every action and word, they purpose to always honor Christ and to always follow in his footsteps. They give their utmost love, respect, and praise to Him alone. They put all physical, emotional, and mental energies into seeking His will for their lives and pursuing the holiest and purest reputation. Ss PHILIP and JAMES, PRAY FOR US. May we pick a leaf always from them as we continue to love and serve God. GOD BLESS YOU YOU ALL. Ss Philip and James
