First Church of Ford City

It is in unity that we show God's love to the world. Jesus himself prayed that the church would be one so that the world would see God's love in us. You and I are part of the picture. Jesus wants us to love one another, help one another, and serve one another. When we do that, we become one, just as Jesus prayed we would be, and when we are one, the world can see God's love in us.

While praying one day a woman asked, "Who are you, God?"He answered, "I AM.""But who is 'I AM'?" she asked. He replied, " I AM love. I AM peace. I AM grace. I AM joy. I AM strength. I AM safety. I AM shelter. I AM power. I AM the creator. I AM the Comforter. I AM the Beginning and the End. I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Light." With tears in her eyes, she looked toward heaven and said, "Now I understand. But who am I?" God tenderly wiped the tears from her eyes and whispered, "You are Mine."

1 Corinthians 12:14 The body of Christ, or the people that are the whole of humanity, are a team. The body is not supported by one person, but by all of us. We are one, we are strongest working together in unity. Teamwork is the key to living life in harmony, so that we can do God's will.
