Hello All! I believe the time has come to give an update and ensure each of you are aware of how we will be doing our Sabbath services until we reach a time where it is deemed safe to once again meet in person. First, as you know my surgery was November 5 in Pittsburgh. The only thing I can think to do in wake of that day is to Praise God for his miraculous healing power. A week before Christmas I was released by my surgeon to resume normal activity. I have been off pai...n meds completely for 4 weeks now. The only limitations I have on activity are determined by pain and stamina. Due to the grace of God I have recovered more in 8 weeks than I did in almost 3 months from the other surgeries. I still have to be very careful of activity and exposure to illnesses. Cold still is a challenge as it makes breathing a bit challenging and uncomfortable. Nights and sleeping are also a challenge as staying asleep is proving to be elusive. God is good and my family and I praise him for many things. Of those things is a heartfelt praise for each and every one of you. The prayers, cards, messages, phone calls and endless supply of support assistance. I feel truly blessed to be a part of this church. Each of you show the love of Christ and it is true testimony to the character of Christ shining in our congregation. I love each of you and thank God that he has brought you into my life. I look forward to seeing what God is going to do in and through your lives. As the virus has surged recently in our community, we once again are going to virtual worship and bible study. This is a situation that leadership is keeping an eye on weekly and as soon a the danger is mitigated to acceptable levels we will announce when we will open the doors to the church once again. In the mean time, I am available to talk with you, pray with you, counsel or otherwise visit with you. Just give me a message here, call or come to the church and I can visit with you. If you come to the church please wear a mask, I will wear one during our visit. Saturday and Wednesday night bible study's are going strong. I encourage each of you to join us. Saturday night we are studying Isaiah and Wednesday nights is Romans. If you need the link to join please let either Pearl Brock or myself know and we will get it to you. Sabbath school is suspended for now and may resume virtually very soon. I will keep you updated. Beginning this Sabbath, Jan. 2, 2021, we will be doing live service via zoom. Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. EST and we will have music, prayer time and a message. Again, If you need the link to join us, please contact Pearl Brock or my self. I look forward to seeing you all soon and look forward to the opportunity to talk with each of you soon. God Bless, Pastor Steve
