We took our friends from NJ and Staten Island Steve on the world tour of Darkwater today. We covered a lot of ground and had a lot of laughs. Thanks John Perry for getting this group to come out and ride with us. Hope you all enjoyed the trails and we will see you again soon!

Heads ups to FRO members! This photo was taken approximately a quarter mile off of our property near silver creek. We are currently attempting to get in contact with the property owner to allow us to bring equipment up to fill it in. Mine subsidences are somewhat commonplace in the coal region. If you ever see something similar to this on our property please stay away, attempt to get gps coordinates and contact us. Many thanks to the person who reported it but please stay on property if you do not have permission from adjacent property owners.

Just a heads up to all members. We will not be sending out new membership cards in the mail like years prior. Since we changed to the year to date system there is no longer a need for new cards each year. As long as your membership is up to date, your current member cards are still valid. If your current cards have been lost or damaged please let us know and we will send new ones. Please share to get the word around.

Special thanks to DelVal Trail Riders for hosting the Dirty Santa Toy Run again this past weekend. Even with having to keep attendance minimal, they managed to receive an entire trailer full of toys as a donation to the local Toys for Tots. It is another great example of how charitable the off road community is. If anyone is interested in getting involved and joining an off road motorcycle club please reach of to them on Facebook. They truly are a great group of men and women.

Very special thank you to Northeast 4x4 Off Road Club and Joshua Wilson for setting up a great weekend at FRO. In a matter of an hour they managed to fill an entire van worth of food that was donated to the local Salvation Army. Hopefully these donations will ensure a happy Thanksgiving for local families in need during these trying times. It’s amazing how charitable the off-road community is.

Two vehicles impounded in the Heckscherville valley today. One vehicle was a trespasser and the other vehicle was a member without a permit displayed. Luckily the member came by shortly after we towed the vehicle and we were able to get the vehicle returned without charge. MEMBERS PLEASE PUT YOUR MEMBERSHIP TAGS IN YOUR WINDSHIELDS. We need to be able to successfully target the trespassers. If you forget your tag please put a note in the windshield with your name and phone number.

***VEHICLE MISSING/STOLEN $1000 REWARD*** Since the inception of FRO we have never had a report of a vehicle getting stolen but unfortunately there’s always a first. At approximately 4pm today this vehicle went missing. A member of FRO was hunting on the south side of Darkwater Rd and to the east of the stone quarry. The member stated he had his keys on him so it must have been towed by another vehicle while he was in his deer stand. If anyone saw this vehicle being towed ...or if have any info that would be helpful please call us at 570-573-1038 or the Frackville State Police at 570-874-5300. The vehicle missing is a 2016 Polaris RZR S1000 FRO will be offering a $1000 reward to anyone who’s information leads to the arrest of the person/persons or the return of the vehicle. Please come forward if you have any info. This is not a commonplace occurrence but we never want to see this happen again. Please share and hopefully we can find who did it and get the vehicle returned.

4 people were cited with trespassing violations in the Heckscherville valley. There were a fair amount of members parked here as well. This is not an approved parking area. If you are a member please park at St. Kierns if you want to ride in the Heckscherville valley. Thanks again to all local law enforcement and specifically Cass, Foster, and Minersville police departments. Tomorrow we have other local departments ready to assist with issuing violations. If you are a member and see people you suspect of trespassing please call 570-573-1038.

Yesterday morning 6 people were cited for trespass . They we’re caught camping, trespassing and attempted to flee from our FRO guards. Additionally the trespassers were all brought in by two people who had memberships. Their memberships have been revoked and they are banned from property. Thanks again to St.Clair police! We apologize if these posts are getting redundant but the trespassing needs to stop. Hopefully the word will continue to spread.

FRO - Notice To All - https://mailchi.mp/readi/fro-property-parking-notice-to-all - In the near future we are going to be checking vehicles parked on property and having any vehicle without a membership card displayed towed off property. Please make sure to hang your membership tag from your rear view mirror anytime you park on property. If for some reason you forget your membership hang tag, please leave a note in your windshield with your name and phone number.

These two knuckleheads were arrested by State Police on property for dumping trash at Burma. If anyone sees these two on FRO property in the future please report it. Thank you to the State Police and the FRO member who contacted us, took pictures and reported it!

We are happy to announce that we have added an 8th trail head at FRO. The trail head makes Ashland Mountain South much more accessible. The actual parking and turn around area is located approximately a half mile down the trail from the entrance sign. Red White and Blue Autos was kind enough to allow us to use their entrance. Please be courteous as your entering and exiting. Additionally we have built a ramp to be used for loading and off-loading. We intend on putting in ramps at all trailheads in the near future. What a special time we had at this years 2nd annual Rock and Coal Ride! Thank you to all who came out and made it such a fun time.
