For years, people have been asking me to do a YA version of the book to correct the widespread misinformation about her and provide young people a substantive look at the Black freedom struggle across the 20th century, given Mrs. Parks' 60+ years of activism in Montgomery and Detroit. Finally I could see it. It comes out February 2 with Brandy Colbert!
