Dear EBB Staff & Families, Tomorrow, Thursday, February 18, 2021, it is EBB Childcare's plan to operate on a delayed schedule. We plan to open for care at 9:30AM, please be aware that breakfast will NOT be served! PLEASE BE ADVISED: We will REASSESS weather conditions at 8:00AM Thursday morning. NO LATER THAN 8:30AM, an additional WEATHER UPDATE will be sent through HiMama, which will confirm if we will continue with our 9:30AM delayed schedule plan or if a closure day is unf...ortunately necessary. The current storm track is playing out to be somewhat unpredictable in terms of overnight accumulation and what specific morning hours will most likely bring the heaviest snowfall. Dear EBB Staff & Families, Sorry for the late update, but we tried to hold off as long as possible to provide you with the most up up to date information possible, in regards to our plans for opening/closing tomorrow for care! At this point in the storm, it is EBB Childcare's plan to operate on a delayed schedule on Thursday, December 17th 2020. We plan to open for care at 10:30AM, please be aware that breakfast will not be served! ... With the storm still being unpredictable for the overnight hours, we will reassess weather conditions at 8:00AM Thursday morning. At 8:00AM an additional update will be sent through HiMama, which will confirm if we will continue with our 10:30AM delayed schedule plan or if a closure is necessary. The current storm track is playing out to be somewhat unpredictable for the overnight hours, so we feel a reassessment of weather conditions at 8AM tomorrow morning is the safest way to go! Families....we have a favor to ask of you! If you WILL NEED CARE TOMORROW, please message a Director by 8:00AM on Thursday so we can get a tentative child headcount for the day. Our hopes are that a child headcount , will allow us to more accurately assess how many staff we will need to bring into work (if we continue with the 10:30AM delayed plan). Dear EBB Staff and Families, As expected, York County will be hit with a significant snow storm tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 16. While a specific "start time" for the storm is impossible to precisely predict, we want to take reasonable measures to keep all families and staff safe! After studying current storm tracks and gathering information from reliable weather resources, we have decided that EBB Childcare will be closing tomorrow at 12:00PM (Wednesday, Dec. 16). ... It is our hopes that making this weather call now will allow both staff and families to plan ahead, helping to ensure everyone is safe at home before road conditions begin to deteriorate. Please be advised that storm tracks can change quickly! If snow would begin to fall sooner than predicted tomorrow morning, we will adjust our closure time to an earlier hour for the safety of all parties. For this reason, we ask that’s families keep a close eye on their HiMamma notifications tomorrow morning! If snow begins falling earlier than expected, our closure time WILL BE MOVED UP!Families will be allotted approximately ONE HOUR from the time of a HiMamma closure notification, until the center closes. If you commute a far distance for work, please have an emergency pick up person designated TONIGHT to pick up your child(ren), as traffic will pick up when flurries begin to appear! Tomorrow, we will be serving breakfast during our normal time frame and then a light brunch at 10:30AM, to help fight off hungry bellies! While inclement weather closings are never convenient, our number one priority is to keep both EBB staff and families safe!
