On September 22, sixteen first year students in Eastern Mennonite University's aviation program at Lancaster, PA, engaged in a field trip to the Golden Age Air Museum at Grimes Airfield in Bethel, PA. This was part of their course, Becoming Aviators - An Introduction to Aeronautics. Museum Docent Michael O'Neil provided valuable content, and context, about aviation during the First World War and in the period between the World Wars, known as the "Golden Age of Aviation." Each student chose an artifact of interest, on which they will write a report about the impact of that aircraft type on aviation history. #Goldenageair, #fly_ats
Our new Director of Healthcare programs followed a path much like that of our students - raising a family while going to school and fulfilling career goals along the way!
The need for aviation is not diminished by the pandemic. In fact, "Safely delivering Covid-19 vaccines will be the mission of the century for the global air cargo industry," said IATA's director general and CEO, Alexandre de Juniac.
