530 Brush 1 & 2, Squad, and Tanker responded to assist at a large brush fire in Rimer this afternoon. Please do not burn anything right now, crews were on this scene for almost 9 hours trying to contain the fire. Unknown at this time the exact amount of acres that were burnt. We would like to thank all the people who stopped to drop off water and food for all fire personnel. It is much appreciated.

Ok so in the very near future we will be starting to do some of the online sure tip raffles . We already have a list of ideas, but we want to hear from the people. What are you interested as possible prizes ?!?!!?!?

This hits extremely close to home, and unfortunately SCCAS isn’t the only service struggling. Please help and support your local FIRE AND EMS agencies!!! Sooner or later we are gonna get to the point where you may be calling 9-1-1 for help and nobody responds
