Just want to give a shout out to this young lady right here, little Miss Maya!! Over the weekend she had her very own lemonade stand to raise money to buy ice cream for her friends in her class here at the daycare!!! She also bought for the teachers and made sure to even buy a treat for her little sisters class!! One tiny act of kindness is all it takes to pave the way for others to want to show kindness too, Maya- today you showed your friends that being kind and thoughtful ...is the best way to be. In this world full of chaos and craziness one things for sure you can always count on these kiddos around here to keep you smiling, and to teach you a thing or two about life, about kindness and giving!! Be thoughtful always, be giving and be kind- that’s the lesson I learned from you today Maya! Thank you for your thoughtfulness and giving heart! We ALL enjoyed our treat! And I personally enjoyed every second of our journey to the grocery store to pick out your stuff!! Thanks again for just being YOU! Beth Fisher **some faces are colored over as they do not have parental permission to appear on Facebook posts from the daycare.
Parents (specifically parents of our school age children): I understand you have many questions regarding how we will do things this upcoming school year with all that’s going on. Once we get a concrete decision from the district we will begin putting in a motion plan to be able to accommodate you and your children in your needs this coming school year. That being said I want to be able to do all that I can to help the children be successful in their academics during these un...precedented times. I promise I will do all that I can to support them and ultimately you, the parents, as well. We will work together to come up with a plan that will best provide for their needs no matter what option for schooling you choose. Once we hear a decision from the district I will be sending home a questionnaire to gather more information from you as far as what your plans will be and for you to offer suggestions on what we can help with. Please keep in mind our staff do not have proper certification that our district teachers have so we will not be able to provide specific instruction but we will do what we can to help with some limitations. I will be looking for guidance from our state as far as exactly what we, as childcare providers, are allowed to assist with or what kind of services we may be able to offer. As soon as I hear more info I will be sure to touch base with all of you at that time. In the meantime feel free to share any questions, suggestions or concerns you may have and I’ll do my best to address them! ~Airica See more

As promised in a follow up to yesterday’s post here is the information with a link to how you can email congress and advocate for child care centers to receive the funding we need to save child care centers across PA. We greatly NEED your support to help us in this fight. By clicking on the link below it will take you to a page where you can send in email in one click or you can also call the Capitol switchboard at (202)224-3121 to be connected to the offices of your members of Congress by phone. Thank you for your continued support! https://startstrongpa.org/take-action
Friends and Family!!!! The Child Care industry NEEDS your help!! This is an email I received today and will post the follow up email to this tomorrow. If you can find the time please take action tomorrow to HELP save Child Care Centers!!! Tomorrow they will be sending a follow up email with ways we can contact congress to encourage they implement funding to help save child care centers across PA! Remember, without YOUR support many child care centers will be forced to close b...ecause of finances. If that happens it will also directly affect the economy as many people will be out of work due to lack of child care. This is a way you can do your part to help this economy, so please be sure to make your voice heard tomorrow! Stay tuned tomorrow for the follow up email and all the info you need to know. Refer to the pictures below for the email I received today. Thank you always for your continued support!! See more
PARENTS Most of you received the letter we sent home today. But for those who were not here and did not receive a copy please see below for new mandated guidance regarding Face masks that we received from licensing. The full release of information from licensing can be found posted on our door. Should you have further concerns please bring them to a member of management. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in this matter. ~Airica
PARENTS: Just a reminder, tomorrow Monday June 15, 2020 is our reopening day! We are very excited to see everyone! Attached is a picture with our COVID19 protocols. Please read them carefully and be sure to abide by them for the health and well being of everyone! If you do not understand any one thing please feel free to ask for further clarification!! Also, I’m open for suggestions if you have anything you feel needs added to this list! Thank you in advance for your coopera...tion! Also, there is A LOT of construction going on around the center. Please be mindful as you drive through our parking lot that there are two big dumpsters that sit towards the end of our driveway, they will be out of the path of traffic but just want everyone to be mindful of them and the workers that may be walking around at that end. The construction will be isolated from the children so no need to worry there. In addition, the location of most of the classrooms have changed but the teachers remain the same with a few who have aged up during our closure. We will explain all changes to you then in a memo we will send home by end of this week. Thank you for your continued support!!! See everyone soon!! See more
Hello Eagles Nest families! We will definitely be opening Monday the 15th!!! We are excited to see everyone! We will be at the center from 10-4 tomorrow (Wednesday 6/10) and Thursday (6/11) if you want to stop by and grab any belongings that may have been left at the center. Also, we will need agreements and emergency contact forms updated, we can have you do this at drop off or pick up next week or you can stop by the next two days (6/10 and 6/11) to do so. If you plan to stop by please call or message the page and let us know your time you’ll be coming so we can look for you as we will be busy around the center working on things! Hello again Eagles Nest family and friends. As you may or may not have heard Governor Wolf just announced today that Franklin County will move into the yellow phase as of May 29. We will still however stick with opening our center on June 15. We have been working on returning phone calls to those who have returned ours so just be patient in waiting for us to return your call to go over our new protocols. We will return your calls by the end of next week. We are looking forward to the return of the kiddos and we assure we will do everything we can to mitigate the spread of all germs and keep our center a safe and healthy environment for our children and staff.
PLEASE SHARE We are now hiring for when our center opens back, which we hope will be June 15. Full time and part time positions available. Preferably must have previous child care experience but not necessary. Please contact us on our Facebook page if you are interested and we will set up a time to discuss details. Thank you.
PARENTS, We have contacted everyone regarding our plan to reopen. We have either spoke to you, or left a message for you. Please promptly return our call to let us know what you’re plan is when we reopen as far as if your child will be returning. We also have protocols put in place that we would like to address with you when you call. As of now, if the Governor opens Franklin County on June 4 by moving us into the yellow phase our center will then open June 15. Again, please return our calls promptly if we haven’t spoke with you to let us know your plan for your child to return. Thank you. ~Airica
