Congratulations to Dragon MMA Academy's Johnnie Bitting. 6 months ago he was asked to be in the new Warner Bros. / DC Comics movie Batman vs Teenage mutant ninj...a turtle movie as the inspiration for the bo staff fight scenes. Also asked if they could use him in the Documentary of how they made the movie. John received credit in the movie along with a profile now on IMDb. Summer camps are filling up quick!! right now we have 6 spots left for the first camp, 5 spots for the second camp and 7 spots left for the 3rd camp. For the fi...rst summer camp June 24th - 28th the kids will be joining the DSMA kids in filming a short martial arts film. They will learn acting skills along with fight choreography. NEW SCHEDULE Starting June 1st!!!! To help accommodate the rapid growth of Dragon MMA Academy we have extended our hours and added some additional classes. New... classes like "Tricking and flips" where students will learn kicking tricks, flips and weapon tricks. Fight cerography where students will learn how to create fight scenes with weapons, light sabers and hand to hand. We now have sparring everyday as well. You may point spar, stick spar, kickboxing spar and MMA spar every night of the week now!! On Fridays we have added a techniques and testing class for anyone looking to work on their next belt.
