Drexeline Billiards Club

Drexeline Billiard Club has lost one of our family members, Ray Murphy. He will be missed by all at Drexeline. Ray turned into a regular at our club and had been frequenting the Billiard Room for many years, considered one of our friends. Retired from his own retail men’s clothing business, a very successful man and well respected here at Drexeline. On occasion Ray and I would have conversations about business and must say Ray was always right on. We will miss you Dearly, Ray. Our Condolences to entire Family and Friends.

Drexeline Billiard Club has lost one of our super long time regulars and someone that is part of our Drexeline Family. Our Bob Burt passed after a long fight. There are really no words to describe how the Drexeline Family is feeling. A great loss as Bob was loved by all and always lit it up at the Billiard Room. We extend our prayers and condolences to Bob‘s entire family.

DREXELINE BILLIARD CLUB is taking a break due to orders given by GOVERNOR TOM WOLF. We will reopen on January 4th, 2021, Monday. We wish everyone a Super Safe and Great Holiday Season.

Results from last Tuesday Night Handicap Tournament. Anthony Williams snapped off first place defeating Bob Hontz in the final match. Congratulations to Anthony and nice finish for Bob. Kudos to our 3/4 place tie, Dan Kelly & Don Lambert. Good job guys. 27 players on the chart with 8 hill hill matches. No Dice . Thanks to everyone that came out for our weekly tournament and hope to see all next week. Keep on Strokin.

40 players hit the chart last Tuesday Night. 8 hill hill matches were had but no dice. 1st and 2nd was a chop going to Bob Hontz & Dan Kelley. Congratulations to both on a great performance, and let’s include Joe Scott in the mix coming in 3rd. Kudos to 4/5/6 place finishers Aaron Hanks, Rodney Bardwell, & Mark Nanashee. Good job guys. Results from our Tuesday Night Handicap Tournament. Top of the board, would be Duke. A big congratulations to our winner and runner up Max. Kudos to or 3/4 place tie, Qua and James. Good job guys. We sported 28 players with 4 buy backs and 4 hill hill matches. As usual a big thanks to everyone that came out for our weekly event. Congratulations to Bob Hontz & Mark Nanashee for a first and second finish with kudos to Benji Klapholz & Qua White our 3/4 place finishers. 32 players were on the roster with 5 hill hill matches but no dice . Tonight’s the Night

Tuesday Night Results as Follows. 1st Place Lisa Dougherty , a big Congratulations to Lisa is in order, with Kathy Callahan grabbing 2nd place, an all Lady finals. Great job Ladies. 3/4 tie goes to Terry T. and Walter Clark. Kudos guys on a fine finish. A thanks to all that showed for our Tuesday Night Handicap Tournament. Keep on Strokin.

Drexeline Billiard Club is now in Action with restrictions of course, resuming our regular hours., 7 days, open at 9:00am until midnight. Entering, masks required and social distancing. Playing pool, mask optional. We have prepared our billiard room to meet the CDC requirements. During shutdown we completely refreshed our entire billiard room. We invite all to come check us out. Update: Tuesday Night Handicap 9-Ball is canceled until further notice. With the large field of players we usually get it would be difficult to social distance. We are in process of putting together a Weekly Tournament with a limited field. Stay tuned for details. We hope everyone and families are well and hope to see all soon.
