A big Congratulations and Happy Birthday goes out to Jim Wagner from the members of Station 13!
Today, Rescue 13 and Engine 13-1 responded to this barn fire on Hackman Road in Clay Twp. Both pieces responded with a total of 13 personel, set up RIT operations and assisted with clean up.

This evening, at 21:20 hours, Station 13 was alerted to respond to a Vehicle Accident w/ unknown injuries at the interchange on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Rescue 13 and Engine 13-2 responded and upon arrival, no vehicle was found. While on scene, Stations 17-1 (Reamstown Fire Company 17-1) and Station 11 (Adamstown Fire Company) were dispatched to Mile Marker 43.6 on Route 222 Northbound for a Vehicle Accident - Class 1. Both the Rescue and Engine 2 went available from the first call and responded to assist Stations 17-1 and 11 at the request of Command 17 since we were in the area. Crews provided scene lighting and Engine 2 acted as a blocker vehicle for the scene until released by Command 17. This weekend has been a busy weekend for the volunteers of Denver Fire Company. Members responded to 6 calls for service since Friday!
Thank you to Weik's Welding for an awesome job with our new shelving unit we needed to be able to carry our new Vetter Airbag System.
Tonight we wrapped up our month of RIT Training by having the firefighter's navigating obstacles to reach a downed firefighter. Once reaching the firefighter they had to assist with air management.
Engine 13-1 is currently standing by at Station 19 (Schoeneck Fire Company) with a crew of 7 while they operate on a Building Dwelling on Girl Scout Road in West Cocalico twp.
Starting September 30 through October 7, the following roads will be widened and paved: Whitehall Road Lane Road... Shenks Mill Road Thank you!
