Be an advocate for your streams! One way of getting better protections for our streams is through redesignation. By classifying streams to higher categories, we can offer them greater water quality protections from pollution sources. In our upcoming webinar, we'll teach you how you can petition to maintain or upgrade a stream's designation for better protections! Join us! Thurs, Nov 19, 2020, 7pm... 2 dewatering incidents this year caused by the Hercules Cement plant has left the Bushkill Creek high and dry, with thousands of fish and wildlife dead. The plant needs to understand that damage and harm done to our fisheries and prized streams will not be tolerated. We are fully prepared to take legal action on the matter. To support the defense of our streams, wetlands, wildlife, and watershed communities, consider donating to the Delaware Riverkeeper Network's efforts: htt...ps://www.classy.org/give/273772/#!/donation/checkout Article: https://www.inquirer.com//trout-water-creek-fish-bushkill- #ProtectOurStreams

"The only thing that widening Rt. 519 honors, along with the 30-year tax break that he has applied for, will be Jaindl’s pocketbook.... https://www.delawareriverkeeper.org//Veterans%20PR_Jaindlw #VeteransDay #NoJaindlWarehouse New Jersey Highlands Coalition Citizens For Sustainable Development
If you pollute, you're gonna pay. We've been working hard for years to protect the people from PFAS and other toxic chemicals through changes in policy. We are applauding Governor Murphy, NJDEP, and AG Grewal's decision to take Solvay and Arkema to court for the pollution of our waterways and drinking water. https://patch.com//west-deptford-plant-contaminated-water-
The Delaware Riverkeeper Network and other organizations are supporting this historical legal action by the state of New Jersey against Solvay and Arkema for their widespread contamination of drinking water and the environment stemming from their plastics manufacturing operations in West Deptford, NJ. https://delawareriverkeeper.org//Group%20Press%20Statement Clean Water Action New Jersey New Jersey Sierra Club Environment New Jersey
