Plate It Forward March 2021 The Fleetwood Community Bus... The Fleetwood Community Bus is a 501c3 organization based in Fleetwood PA. Its board is entirely made up of volunteers. Its main purpose is to assist local senior citizens. The bus will pick up local seniors and escort them to the grocery store and the local dollar store. All runs are done completely by donation. The 26-seat bus is also available to be used by other groups by donation as well. It has transported local groups to the airport so that they can go on mission trips. Local churches have used the bus to Christmas carol to shut ins. Youth groups love to take it to camp as well as other events. One group uses it for a monthly mystery trip. The bus has even been used for shuttle services at local festivals. When a customer orders any PA Dutch special throughout the month, dine-in or takeout, $1 from each special will be donated to this recipient for the month.
