We have a lot of customers ask for the best way to cook a 100% grass fed steak. Here is how we make most of ours. It’s nearly fail proof!! 1: thaw steak. 2: open packages. Dry off steak on both sides with paper towel. Season with salt and pepper and spices of choice. ... 3: (optional) let steak sit on a rack in fridge for up to 2 hours. 4: preheat oven to 250 degrees 5: pre heat a cast iron skillet to medium high heat. Add high flash point oil of choice to the pan. (Peanut oil, avocado oil, or animal fats) 6: sear both sides of steak for no more than 45 seconds per side. 7: place the cast iron pan with the steak into the preheated oven. Insert a digital meat thermometer probe into the meat. 8: leave in the oven until steak reaches desired doneness level. (145 for medium) 9: take the pan out of the oven and let the steaks rest for 10 minutes. 10: enjoy! #grassfedbeef #wholefood #healthyfood #paleo
