With the recent closing of the early deer archery season and the opening of general firearms deer season this SATURDAY, November 28, 2020, the Pennsylvania Game Commission would like to remind deer hunters to report your harvest. It’s legally your responsibility as a Pennsylvania hunter to report your big game harvests within 10 days. By reporting your harvest, you're providing information that will aid in our biologist's decision-making process and tag allocations for not o...nly next year, but for years to come. You can report your harvest online, by phone or send via mail. Report your harvest online here https://bit.ly/2IHWytT. Hunters harvesting bears during the statewide regular firearms bear season must, within 24 hours, take their harvest along with his or her hunting license and bear license to a Game Commission bear check station for examination. Check stations are open on each day of the regular firearms bear season, and on select days during the extended firearms season. Information about and locations of bear check station can be found on pages 37-38 of your 2020-21 Hunting and Trapping Digest https://bit.ly/3e94Pmg.
