Attention Coopers Comics Customers! One of our loyal customers would like to host a Dungeons and Dragons Ravenloft 5e campaign here in Columbia. He is a Dungeon Master in need of 2-3 more players. This campaign is open to DnD beginners and veterans. ... You DON'T need the current rules books - free materials are available online and supplemental material will be provided by the DM. (you may want your own dice - but if not, no problem - the DM has you covered). It will be held at the host’s office at 336 Locust Street! This campaign will include STRONG Gothic horror themes and set pieces and is not intended for children under 18 or the squeamish.

Cooper’s Comics & Collectibles will be open from 1 to 7 tomorrow for the first time since mid-March! We’ll also be open our regular store hours going forward unless otherwise notified. Also, We will be observing suggested guidelines of wearing masks as well as possibly limiting the number of customers at one time (social distancing - we are a small store!) so watch for a sign on the door something like Customer limit reached - please wait. Thanks everyone!!

I neglected to post this photo from Thursday showing the opened space in Cooper’s Comics! More work to do, decisions to make but we are well on our way!

Welp, my back is sore from moving all 72 boxes from the tables to their new shelves at Cooper’s Comics! Whew! Next we’ll attach a list to the front of each box to detail what titles are enclosed! Then where to put all of the tables?!?!

Saturday and yesterday at Cooper’s Comics I added the second coat of white and colors while today I applied 2 coats of polyurethane. So based on that, it didn’t make sense to post photos since they would look no different than others I’ve posted! So I’ll just repost this one. Tomorrow the boxes get moved into their new locations! Then the challenge is where to put the tables and other stuff under he tables in order to open up the floor!

So today at Cooper’s Comics I managed to not only apply the ‘unanimous opinion’ second coat of white but I also followed Ron and my sister Monte Ann’s advice of some contrasting color. Hard to tell from the photo but I went with red, purple, orange, yellow, blue and green. Tomorrow will be the second coat of the colors then polyurethane the whole kit and kabootle!

My conscience would never allow me to make a living as a painter but the shelves at Cooper’s Comics have been painted! Question - should I apply a second coat? Thanks in advance for your comments!
