We are very blessed and grateful here to have received such amazing care packages for our veterans and the spouses of veterans for Veterans Day. All this was done by the Bridge’s Kid Club with the help of other organizations. We are thankful for all that you have done for our veterans!

We love our smores and are sad to say goodbye as the cold Pittsburgh weather takes over. However, we have lots of other yummy treats coming up like the Build Your Own Hot Chocolate Bar!

Today is Veteran’s Day and so we displayed some veterans' items from their time in the service. Some brought metals and uniforms while others brought pictures of family members who were in the service. One of our residents brought down the picture of the man, to honor him, who took his place and sacrificed his own life to save him. Happy Veteran’s Day to all those who served our country. We thank you for all that you have done, for your bravery and courage.
