Snowball Open January 9th and 10th, 2021
Members and Guests, In accordance with Governor Tom Wolf's temporary COVID-19 mitigation measures announced on December 10th, 2020, we must again suspend all club operations at Charleroi Archery Club until January 4th, 2021. We must do our part to mitigate the transmission of COVID-19 and we encourage all members to do the same. This decision is a difficult one but one I am charged with. It is imperative that there may be no more than 10 members in the club at any given time... as per state guidelines. Masks covering the nose and mouth must be worn at all times indoors. Any exceptions will be deemed unlawful. It is difficult to imagine that as president I would have to enforce rules such as this. This is temporary but for the greater good. As this is a rapidly evolving situation direction may change. Stay safe! Sincerely, Joe Sopcak President, Charleroi Archery Club
Monthly meeting Wednesday June 4th, 2020 at 8pm.
The Charleroi Archery Club will reopen on Friday, May 15th, 2020. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again. In order for the club to operate and continue to minimize exposure to COVID19, there are social distancing measures that must be observed. Gatherings of any kind are limited to no more than 25 people. For up-to-date specifics, please refer to: https://www.governor.pa.gov/process-to-reopen-pennsylvania/
Per Governor Wolf's directive for all non-life sustaining businesses and organizations to close, the Charleroi Archery Club is closed. We will announce when the building is open again. Please stay safe and take care.
Message from President Joe Sopcak- In consideration for the health and safety of our members, we are immediately suspending all scheduled activities and events at Charleroi Archery Club until April 2, 2020. There will be no meeting April 1, 2020. I have made this decision based upon directives from federal, state and local authorities. We must do our part to mitigate the transmission of COVID 19 and we encourage all members to do the same. This decision is a difficult one but one I am charged with. It is imperative that there may be no more than 10 members in the club at any given time as per federal guidelines. It is difficult to imagine that as president I would have to enforce rules such as this. This is temporary but for the greater good. As this is a rapidly evolving direction may change. Stay safe!
