I am looking for information concerning the old lumber GHOST TOWN of MASTEN. The town existed from 1905-1930 and was located in Cascade and McNett Townships of Lycoming County. At one time about 1000 people lived there. Today it is a ghost. This is for an upcoming book, MASTEN: LUMBER GIANT which hopefully will be out in about a year. I am particularly interested in contemporary photographs, real photo postcards, letters, diaries, family memoirs, scrapbooks, written information, etc. If used, full credit will be given. I am willing to buy or go to great lengths to acquire quality copies. Thank you.

For those who missed my recent book signings, I will be back in Muncy this Friday, August 23th for the FOURTH FRIDAY EVENT from 6-9 PM. I will be located at SPOT #45, just down from High Street, on west (river) side of Main Street in front of the dentist office. In addition to CIVIL WAR TALES ($25), I will also have copies of FROM A BYGONE ERA: (Muncy-Hughesville and vicinity) available ($15).
