Food distribution at the Pespire shelter for people affected by IOTA storm. Families living in risk areas were temporary relocated. Marvin and Beatriz provided food and coffee to these families.

Many of our North American friends have call me or sent emails, for they are concern about the weather situation in our country. It Is raining tonight and forecast says will be consistently raining tomorrow. Many families have been evacuate countrywide and red alert since Saturday last week. IOTA has turn into a tropical storm right after reaching Nicaragua coast. Even then, it can still cause floods, landslides and strong winds in the coming hours. Keep our country in your prayers.

We are half way to complete the 6 months plan for food deliveries to 400 families in the south of Honduras. We have successfully provided 1,200 food baskets to 400 families. Rise against Hunger donated most of funding for this project; but humanitarian C.A.R.E. friends who support our projects can feel happy for this contribution.... www.carelief.org
