Prompt of the week! I'm sure everyone has seen photos like this on their feed, but have you ever thought about using them to generate character ideas? Find one photo that pertains to the genre of your choice (it's easy through a google search) pick the asked information randomly (you don't have to use your own name), and then write about the character you've created. If you don't like the character you've created, try again until you get something useful! Using different lists of nouns and adjectives will work just as well!

For any Spotify users out there: Spotify is doing "A Poem a Day for Black History Month" playlist that is worth checking out! For anyone with Spotify, Pandora, etc.: Don't forget that many of these apps also offer verbal performances and playlists of different writers and writing. Listen to it, enjoy it, and be inspired by it!
