...Enhanced Threat for Fire Spread Today... Relative humidity values are forecast to drop into the mid teens this afternoon with westerly winds increasing to around 10-15 mph. Gusts of 15-20 mph are possible this afternoon as well,... especially across portions of southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The combination of extremely low humidity values, breezy conditions, and dry fine fuels will lead to an enhanced threat for fire spread this afternoon into early this evening. The exception will be areas where snow remains on the ground in parts of northeastern Pennsylvania and northwest New Jersey. For more information about wildfire danger, burn restriction, and wildfire prevention and education, please visit your state forestry or environmental protection website.

We would like to thank everyone who joined us for this year’s Santa Run! This is one of the highlights of the year for us. Unfortunately, when we have to show up at someone’s house it is usually one of the worst days of their lives, so being able to be there on one of the happiest is truly a treat. Hopefully we were able to spread some Christmas Cheer! We hope everyone has a healthy, safe, and most importantly, happy holiday season. If you have not already, be sure to post your pictures in the comments section of one of our posts.

The National Weather Service is predicting 18-24 inches of snow for our area between Wednesday and Thursday. With a storm like this, it is best to avoid any and all unnecessary travel to provide PennDOT and our township road crew with the opportunity to clear the roads unimpeded. Heavy snow can lead to treacherous roadway conditions. So, if you do have to be on the roads, please be sure to pack vital supplies, like food, water, and warm clothes. ...
