See the importance in shoveling out the fire hydrant by your house! Had this hydrant not been shoveled out and visible this would have delayed fire suppression causing more property damage.

It has been brought to our attention that someone has been calling our residents asking for a donation for the fire company. They have even asked for credit car...d information. We do not make direct phone calls to residents, this is a scam call and the best thing to do is hang up. We send out an EMS subscription in March and a fire company fund drive in October, both by mail. This is the only direct donation requesting we do. Thank-you See more

As the chairman of BTVFC’s truck committee, I am proud to announce the completion and arrival of the new Engine 1711. 1711 is a 2020 Pierce Enforcer pumper with a 2000gpm pump, carrying 750 gallons of water. 1711 will replace our long standing Mack CF pumper, which has proudly served Bethlehem Township since 1989, and has been known as the Miller Heights Express. We are excited to announce the new 1711 will carry on as the Miller Heights Express II as a good portion of th...e design for the 2020 Enforcer was emulated from the original Mack CF. Though a slightly different design and how the equipment will be carried, the Enforcer was designed to serve as a traditional Wagon style pumper like the Mack CF, but carries a more modern functionally that will better suit the needs of our densely developed demographic area over the years, and will assist our firemen who will be operating out of the apparatus with the most efficiency as possible. Now it is time to take a moment and pass on a much needed THANK YOU to the BTVFC truck committee and the company’s membership for their hours, months and a years worth of hard work designing this truck through meetings, phone conference calls, email after email, trips out to the plant and work parties at the station. This truck wouldn’t have been possible without your hard work. Thank you to Matt Weidenhaufer of Glick Fire Equipment for your time and hard work. You are an exceptional salesman who is most certainly 100% dedicated to his work and the needs of the customer and their department. Also, thank you to our board of commissioners in Bethlehem Township for their support through this process, as well as the residents within our community. We here at BTVFC ensure this piece of equipment will serve you with our members providing the best possible service to Bethlehem Township and our surrounding communities for many years to come. Sincerely, -Chief CJ Kuronya See more
